God of War II is the upcoming sequel to the original God of War video game and will be released for the Sony PlayStation 2 video game console. According to IGN, it is slated to ship on March 13, 2007.[1] In an article from the gaming site 1up.com, game director Cory Barlog confirmed the release date and stated that "there will be no delay."[2] The game will be released March 30th in Europe. As of December 22, 2006, the game is in Beta.
